Cool Car Alert! (McLaren F1 for Auction)

High-end car collectors be aware that arguably one of the coolest cars ever assembled is going up for auction next month. The first McLaren F1 that was approved for use in America is going up for auction! The car has 9,600 miles on it and has been meticulously maintained by BMW North America and McLaren. All modifications that were made to the car to make it usable in America are reversible and was widely regarded as the fastest production car for over a decade! The auction will be held at Bonham's Quail Lodge Auction on August 18th! This car will not come cheap and you also receive a bundle of the complete tool kit, a modem to connect to the factory, a full F1 luggage set, A limited edition book by Doug Nye, a detailing kit, mechanic's gloves, a detailing cloth, a car cover, a watch, and all of the original documents and literature including the owner's manual. So if you are in the market for a brand new dream car, then mark your calendars for August 18th and prepare your pocket book. Be mindful however that any repairs or parts will not come cheap with this car, as a former owner of a McLaren F1 stated that a respray cost $250,000, a set of tires cost $52,000, fuel cell replacement was $104,000, and an oil change ran $7,800.
